So another month has gone by and boy, has it been a busy one. We've won a couple more awards, continued to source you some fabulous stock, and have been pretty manic away from all the shopping.
This month we've had some great new items in stock including lace trim tops by Dorothy Perkins and mini and midi gingham bodycon dresses by Topshop, all perfect for summer. We also now have the River Island box bags available in cream as well as pink.
I've mentioned before that I believe in the power of networking. One good turn deserves another and I will always reciprocate like-minded businesses with the support they show me. This attitude has enabled Shopafrolics to thrive so I am thrilled to have been recognised with another award. Please curtsey for the new #Queenof Fabulous Fashion and Accessories!
As eluded to above Shopafrolics wouldn't be as successful as it is without the support and frolics of some great people on Twitter, here's my shoutout to a few people who are worth a follow!
250thouin365 - a double plug here, the fabulously supportive TeamFreddiePig is raising money for two great causes via #FreddiesTweetathon. His aim is to tweet 250,000 times in 365 days. Drop by and show him your support - he loves a good chat (as well as a donation if you wish)!
ChiChiCardsUK - Wherever Chi is networking is bound to be a blast - her quick witted banter, and genune support makes her a pleasure to network with. She also creates the most beautiful handmade cards complete with swarovski elements.
MadebySteffieB - SteffieB's story is inspirational. Not only is she incredibly supportive of her twitter friends but she's facing the biggest challenge of her life trying to raise money for IVF via her cuties which she handmakes with love. I have one named Millie who I will introduce you to sometime soon!
PiggyMarketNo1 - Another member of the piggy family, Jo awarded me with my first ever badge for #LadiesCoffeeHour (Thu & Sun 7-8pm) and she has been amazingly supportive ever since. Her promo helped increase my twitter reach and introduced me to other likeminded businesses. She's piggin' amazing.
June has kept me super busy. We've sold our house (just need to find somewhere to live now!), spent a weekend in sunny Isle of Wight visiting family and have started planning our holibobs! Mind you, the hubby and I were gutted to miss out on Foo Fighters at Wembley but I have to say Dave Grohl's blog apologising to us fans was epic! If you didn't see it then check it out - the man is a legend.
Until next time have a fabulous July...
